Frequently
Asked Questions
Q. What is Village Gaming?
A. Village Gaming is a Single
& Multiplayer, PC and Console gaming facility.
People come to play and even compete in their
favorite games with other players within our facility
and throughout the world. We offer many different
genres of games, but all of them are designed
for single and multiplayer fun! Village Gaming
turns video games into a social experience unlike
any other and is a great place to meet people
interested in computers, technology, and gaming.
Whether you're a guy or girl, a seasoned veteran
of video games or have never played one in your
life, you'll have a blast playing at Village Gaming!
Q. Can I bring in my own games?
A. Yes, players can bring in
their own console games. We do not allow players
to bring in any PC games. If we don't have your
favorite game, let us know and we will try to
get it for you.
Q. Are there parental controls
at Village Gaming?
A. Yes! We have controls in place
for gamers under the age of 17 but we leave it
up to the parents to decide what is appropriate
for their children. Parents of children under
the age of 17 may be asked to complete the Parental
Consent Form.
Q. Is my child safe at Village
Gaming?
A. Yes! Village Gaming provides
a fun and safe environment for children, teenagers,
and gamers of all ages. We have rules in place
and security cameras to keep everyone safe.
Q. Will you watch my child for
me while I am out?
A. While Village Gaming employees
always keep a watchful eye over everyone at the
facility, we are a retail gaming center and not
a day-care center. If you don't believe your child
is mature enough to remain at Village Gaming without
your supervision, then you may not wish to leave
them here. As we are a public business, we can
not prevent anyone from leaving the building if
they choose. However it is our experience that
our patrons enjoy themselves so much they usually
don't want to leave!
Q. Can I bring my own game controllers,
headphones, or mouse?
A. Yes. Please note that PC peripherals
requiring special drivers will not work at Village
Gaming. If you bring your own mouse, please ask
the attendant to hook it up for you, and to reconnect
our equipment when you leave.
Q. Are video games any good for
kids?
A. Yes, when played in moderation.
Too much of anything isn’t good! We find
that many kids who play games at Village Gaming
become much more social and make new friends.
We concentrate on teamwork, communication, and
having a great time.
Q. Can I hold my own events or
leagues at Village Gaming?
A. Yes, we do allow people to
hold events and leagues at Village Gaming. Please
contact the staff for more information.
Q. Do you host Birthday Parties?
A. Yes! Our parties are extremely
easy on parents and their wallets, and everyone
has a great time! Although there is no food allowed
in the facility, we are located between a pizzeria
and a restaurant that would be happy to provide
food, drink, and seating for just about any type
of occasion.
Q. Do you have group discount
rates?
